OVERALL: The GE French door refrigerator GFSL6KKYLS is a great fridge for a family that wants the look of stainless without all of the hassle of keeping it clean. This model is a great refrigerator that comes with some features that won’t cost you an arm and a leg but make you feel like you still treated yourself to something special.

PROS: Easy to Clean Stainless: If you’ve never owned a stainless steel refrigerator before this may seem like no big deal but it really is. Certain stainless steels are very difficult to keep clean or even get clean. GE has created their easy clean stainless and has called it CleanSteel.

Separate Evaporator Systems: This adds a great deal because it keeps the odors and moisture specific to the fridge or freezer which keeps your produce fresher for longer and your ice cream from tasting like last night’s fish.

Very Quiet: This model has the Deluxe Quiet Design making it that you refrigerator is seen and not heard. Though always remember that the ice making function may make more noise when it drops the ice out of the trays.

Lots of Space: Between the crispers, full size drawer, door bins and double drawer in the freezer fitting in all your groceries should be a breeze.

OVERALL: The LG French door refrigerator LFC25776 is a great choice in both the fact that it has a tremendous amount of storage (it’s one of LG’s larger models) and a very highly rated energy usage. Best of all it comes with just about every bell and whistle you could want except for an external ice and water dispenser.

PROS: Incredibly Energy Efficient: When we say that this model uses its energy usage well there’s a great deal backing that up. In 2011 this refrigerator and only one other received the Most Efficient award from Energy Star – that means something. It uses 30% less than what the government demands.

Tons of Storage: Sure you already saw that it has 25 cubic feet of storage but the way that it’s used really makes it much easier to organize. LG made sure that there was a place for everything including 4 drawers that are crispers for fruits, veggies or meats – your choice, shelves that slide out for ease of use, and 5 of the 6 door bins are big enough to hold gallon sized items.

10 Year Compressor Warranty: LG included a linear compressor in this refrigerator that in the end makes it much easier to maintain and less chances of a break down.

MSRP: $1799 is what LG recommends it is sold for but quite often it is sold for a great deal less. We’ve seen it anywhere from 20-35% off of this price.
